A Working Session, Not a Conference
The Central Texas Climate Summit brings students, nonprofit leaders, city and county staff, and community organizers into one room. After a short panel, the majority of the day is spent in small groups working through the region's priority issues — air and water, transit and mobility, energy and grid resilience, land use and equity, and civic infrastructure — and turning them into named actions.
The day closes with the room committing to shared goals for the year ahead.
Last year's inaugural summit drew more than 100 attendees and 15+ community organizations.
